Endodontics – Root Canal Treatment

Root Canal | Endodontics
Dental Education Center

A Root Canal is a treatment to remove infected nerve tissue from the tooth and roots to alleviate pain and/or discomfort. The hollowed root structure is then filled with a material to seal the tooth. A crown is placed on top of the tooth to provide a sound chewing structure.

A Root Canal does not have to be a painful experience. We will give you anesthetic to numb the area as we would for filling. Once you are numb, you will not feel a thing! We will use small files to clean out the infected root, disinfect the area and then seal it back up with a solid material to prevent bacteria from re-entering the tooth.

Welcome to Walker Family Dental

From time to time, the nerve of a tooth becomes inflamed and needs to be removed or a "Root Canal". Our team is trained to make you comfortable while we treat your infected tooth.
